A beautiful deep garnet hue, Chāteau Cluzan 2010 has a chewy, fruit forward attack. The perfectly ripe Merlot grapes make this a fat, full, generous wine, with silky tannins on the back of palate accompanying a powerful, elegant finish.

The grapes of this wine (42% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Cabernet Franc) come from the vineyards of Haut Entre-Deux-Mers at the east of Gironde. This wine reflects the typical burgundy color with reflections of youth, its fragrance is captivating feel currant and red berries. In the final there are flavors of currants and blueberries. Perfect with red grilled meat or stewed, perfectly combined with goat and sheep cheeses or very strong cheeses ripening.

The wine has a fine, deep red color, clean and brilliant, and a full, rich bouquet marked by berry fruit aromas. Round and well-balanced on the palate, it is both supple and generous, displaying great elegance and refinement. It has good aging potential and can be enjoyed for several years after the vintage date.

The attack, beautifully balanced between body and freshness, leads into around and smooth mid-palate on notes of citrus fruit and white blossom. The wine displays fine length on the palate, with an attractive and highly elegent return of fruit flavours on the finish.
