This juicy red from the Calatayud region of Spain represents just why this part of the world is so hot right now. This Old Vines Garnacha (Grenache) has deep, pure dark berry flavors, notes of toasted oak and a long, spicy tinged finish.

This is straight candy, but not over sugarfied if that makes sense. Aromas of red licorice and berries. Ripe raspberry and strawberry flavors with just a tiny bit of black pepper. Reminds me of an aussie shiraz in the flavor profile.

A complete wine, with aromas of forest fruit shrouded in chocolate, vanilla, milk, coffee, nuts and wood spice. The wine has a broad palate of earthy blue fruits and integrated oak; well put together, ripe and nicely open with a lingering spicy finish.

It is a lovely garnet color with very characteristic aromas of black cherry, raspberry and strawberry fruit. The flavors are the same but with a hint of pepper spice. It is great with many different dishes such as grilled salmon, stuffed pork tenderloin and is my favorite choice with chicken.

It is perfectly combined with a sweet and pleasant tannin that leads to a long, balanced and smooth finish.

85% Garnacha and 15% Tempranillo fermented and aged in stainless steel. Aromas of Asian spices, incense, violets, and assorted black fruits are surprisingly complex. Supple, concentrated, and lengthy on the palate, this excellent value will provide enjoyment over the next 4 years.
